Tommy Roe - It's Now Winter's Day

Here is a great lost classic of 1967. Years AFTER the hokey Buddy Holly rip-off "Sheila", and shortly BEFORE he would hit the pop charts again with the bubble gum classic "Dizzy", Tommy Roe delivered this classic pop record. Producer Curt Boettcher led the same team that gave us "Millenium" and "Sagittarius" to another amazing musical victory. Strong, mature songs, full of unique ideas and lyrical imagery, mix with state-of-the art production, and the result is a major treat for the ears. This one caught me totally by surprise. Yes, there is a question about the source used for the CD release, but it certainly sounds good enough to get the point across ...

And whattaya gonna do ... go find a vinyl copy?? By the way, "Aggravation" is a personal favorite. Enjoy!! (Note: The closing track here is NOT from the album, but was the B-side to "Moontalk".)
